Doctor Karla Bechtold
Dentist
Dr. Karla Bechtold grew up in Northwest Iowa and earned her undergraduate degree from Briar Cliff University. Dr. Bechtold attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and graduated in 2010. While in dental school, she was involved in dental research and had her work published in the Journal of Special Care in Dentistry and presented at the International Association of Dental Research meeting in Barcelona, Spain in 2010.
Dr. Bechtold is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association and Sioux City Dental Society. In June 2018, Dr. Bechtold received the Mastership Award from the AGD. To earn the Mastership Award she completed over 1,100 hours of continuing education, passed a comprehensive exam and completed case presentations in over 16 disciplines. Less than 2% of dentists in the US have achieved this Award. Dr. Bechtold is dedicated to staying up to date with the most current dental procedures to provide her patients with the highest quality of care.
Dr. Bechtold has a strong commitment to the community and participates in Big Brothers Big Sisters, 100+ Women Who Care, Briar Cliff Ambassador Program and several other organizations thru out the year. In fall 2018, Dr. Bechtold was recognized as one of Sioux City’s 10 under 40.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her husband Nick and 3 children, Grayson, Levi, and Eden. They enjoy gardening, traveling and spending their time outdoors.

Doctor Mindy Stevens
Dentist
Dr. Mindy Stevens is a Sioux City native, graduating from East High School in 1994. In 1998, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska., and her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2002, also from Creighton. After graduate school, Stevens returned to Sioux City to be near her family and pursue a career in dentistry.
Dr. Stevens is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Northwest Iowa District Dental Society, Sioux City Dental Society, and the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce. She's a member of Women United and has served on various boards in Siouxland such as the Art Center and Launch Pad. Dr. Stevens loves being a part of the Siouxland community and participating in the betterment of the community through various fundraisers.
In the fall of 2013, she was awarded as one of Sioux City’s 10 Under 40, which honors young professionals making a difference in the community.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and their children, Jack, Gus and Hazel. Dr. Stevens and her husband have become self-proclaimed foodies and relish trying different cuisines, farm-to-table restaurants, and exotic foods. They enjoy going to Creighton basketball games, traveling, gardening, and spending time with friends.

Doctor Sidney Hildahl
Dentist
Dr. Sidney Hildahl-Schleuger was born and raised in Sioux City. She graduated from East High School in 2015 and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Morningside College in 2019. Dr. Hildahl earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2023 from Creighton University School of Dentistry. She graduated with honors in the top 10% of her class and was elected as a member of the national Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. She also received an award at graduation for her commitment to digital dentistry and her work with complex cases.
Dr. Hildahl is a member of the American Dental Association. She is passionate about continuing education and providing the best care to her patients. Additionally, she is looking forward to getting involved with and serving the Siouxland community.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, boating in Okoboji, and cheering on the Mustangs. Dr. Hildahl is overjoyed to return home to Sioux City with her husband Zac and start a new chapter close to their loved ones.
